Dryers - Engineered to Fit
SPS® dryers are made to cope with the high output of the fastest screen printing cylinder presses in the world. The wide scope of available dryer solutions allows the adaptation of a line configuration to perfectly match with any print job profile.
Within the range of conveyorized dryers modular combinations of heating and cooling sections, IR and UV radiation modules can be joined according to individual production demands. In line with SPS® cylinder press and stacker, the components of the entire sheet transport system are connected in sequence to form a jam-free sheet highway.
The unique SPS® synchroline system guarantees operational ease and reliability by one-stop design features:
- synchronized conveyor transfer speed between press delivery and dryer inlet (pat. pend.)
- infeed controlled UV power management (stand-by / pre-selected level)
- link-up between printing machine and dryer safety functions.

High-Speed by >real jet< Technology
Inks and varnishes containing organic solvents or water are processed in “conventional” dryer systems. Thermal and kinetic energy expels the solvent molecules from the liquid layer. Protection of the print substrates against distortion is a must.
Maximum efficiency on the lowest possible temperature level is achieved by integration of heavy-duty high-pressure fans. Flow-optimized nozzles or air knifes guide a focused air stream over the sheet surface.
In each heating section, the temperature of the re-circulating air is electronically monitored and regulated, keeping the pre-set values within close tolerance.
Looping through an optional self-contained water / air heat exchanger, chilled air decreases the sheet temperature in the cooling section of the dryer - for fail-safe piling-up in the stacker.

Cure & Cool
Eco-friendly UV curable printing media are widely used for graphic and finishing screen printing applications. All SPS® curing systems combine high UV efficiency with powerful sheet cooling and exemplary operational safety.
UV light sources with optimized spectral emission are used in combination dryers and dedicated UV curing units. Quartz glass filters under the reflectors and the close arrangement of UV radiators and air cooling segments warrant minimum temperature built-up.
